This has been confusing me for a while...*draws in breath* Explanation on whatever the heck OOPArts Gordius Unite is supposed to be. Go.
"Gordias" was the name of the king of Phrygia. Legend stated that he was chosen as king as he fulfilled the decree of an oracle which said that the next person who drives an ox-cart into the city should be chosen as king.
Following that, Gordias’ son Midas, out of gratitude, either tied the ox-cart to a post or tied its shaft with an intricate knot of rope.
This intricate knot would then become the legendary Gordian Knot, and it is now in my possession as OOPArts Gordias Unite, after repairing it since that horrid vandal Alexander the Great cut this precious artifact into bits.
