#MedalMonday Running is MENTAL... • This can be taken 1 of 2 ways... 1. Your a little mental for running a 50k (31m) trail race. 2. Running is more a MINDSET than it is about your physical ability. During the race your body will start to question your life choices...like this would be a nice hike...why do you want to run this? Why do my glutes, quads, and hamstrings want to stop working after mile 24? (And you still have 7 more miles to go!). Why don’t I just stay at this aid station and eat my weight in PB&J and grilled cheese? • • • Shout out to all the runners who ran the 50k and 50 miler! #ThatsSoUltra.
