Hmm. Is there a possible connection between Ranboo’s memory loss and Karl Jacob’s potential(occuring?) one? I’m genuinely curious, even if it seems like a bit of a stretch. There’s been some fics about Ranboo being a time traveler, and it’s an interesting theory.

It could also possibly mean that he very well could have been somebody before ‘Ranboo’. Did he travel too much, and lose himself? From what Karl wrote, it seems like it’s a genuine possibility. Time travel apparently messes with memories. Could Ranboo possibly from a different time?

Didn’t he just show up in the SMP? I’m not entirely sure if he canonically just appeared one day, but I’ve heard some people say that in-character, he never meant to come there. Might not be accurate, but if it is, then maybe he was from a different time period-or even periods. He could have forgotten himself doing this.

Maybe he did so, in a different time from the SMP, and gained the name Ranboo in that time. Perhaps he traveled again, and ended up in present day SMP, with a poor memory and a confusion of how he got there. And the few things he does remember could very well give him his hatred of sides, and a worry of history repeating.

Honestly, Time Traveler!Ranboo would be cool. Probably not true, but an interesting theory. Maybe he and Karl would known each other, before, and forgot after so much traveling. Maybe they both come from the same place, and even learned together, only to share the same fates of forgetting themselves and their history.
