ppl act like zack is a bad person for wanting to be in shinra and like okay sure but so did cloud and they were both idealistic children with no real education or good opportunities to choose from in their rural towns who thought becoming a SOLDIER was one of the only ways they could do something with their life... then they were inevitably used and discarded by the evil corporation and there’s no reason to believe zack wouldn’t have actively fought against them if he hadn’t died.... anyway i understand criticising people for joining the military but i don’t think zack is Problematique for this reason
