Oh look, art! I've partially solved my problem of not being able to properly do the art I wanna do while my PC is still at the repair shop, whooooo!

Anyway! Updated designs for my most precious boys I love them so much afljaklfjaklgjkfkaklsgjfskgl;sdjflad. Both belong to my The Eclipse Protocol AU, a link to the story can be found in my Masterpost. And yes, I am working on a new chapter, I know it's been forever but it's coming.

This is basically how I've always envisioned them to look like, I just didn't have the skill/knowledge to pull it off properly when I first designed them. I'm very happy with how they turned out though ^_^

Celestino. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, all the golden cracks actually look like proper cracks now, rather than just looking like a golden divider between the white and blue. The blue silicone also has a bit more 'space/nebula' vibes to it like it was always supposed to.

Some parts of how his shell is designed changed, mostly notably his abdominal area. I really really hate what I originally gave him, I dunno what I was thinking lmao. His shoulders also changed, covering the joint more and overall his figure received a bit more of an hourglass shape to really push his androgynous design.

The original pattern for his kimono - it's only the outer layer of one - was waaaaay too busy so I went with the cherry blossoms. This was probably the hardest part to do, I had a hard time getting a design down I was actually happy with and I'm still not 100% happy with how it looks but at some point I had to say "good enough, moving on~". It gets the point across.

I didn't want to get rid of the corset but I did reduce the number of belts and replaced the chains with an obijime. Also added a kanzashi decoration even though that's originally worn in the hair.

Also to clear up confusion, Celestino is a Sun, not an Eclipse.

Apollo. My guy lost his twink status lol. I beefed him up to push his whole combat bot design more. The way he is built is meant to be unlike traditional animatronic shells, hence the many different plates and the synthetic muscles showing here and there. For plot reasons.

His Chinese porcelain inspired patterns completely changed (except his face and hands) which were an utter pain the ass to do and I did get a little lazy with them at the end when I was doing his legs. If anyone wants to draw him, you have my permission to simplify these lol. I'm just a masochist XD

His outfit is still the same. I wanted to get rid of the bandages because it makes no sense for them to be there, but @scarredlove (SIMP) liked them too much sooooooo yeah. They stayin'. I did change the design of his boots though. The old ones weren't chunky enough.

My part done for @driftingmoonmenace with an outfit swap theme, my Celestino in the clothes of their Karma, whom I adore. PEAK CHARACTER DESIGN I'M TELLING YA! I gotta say it does fit Celestino but he's no stranger to wearing skirts and dresses anyway lol and he has legs for days.

ANYWAY. I had a lot of fun working on this. I had no idea what to do with the background so it's kinda random. Hope you like it Menace! ^-^ No rush finishing your half and if you ever wanna do another trade in the future, let me know! :D

I wanna do some outfit designs for my TEP boys so here the first one for Celestino~

I've actually been doing a shared AU based on The Eclipse Protocol, very cleverly called TEP AU, with @scarredlove in which everything is still the same except there's no Y/N and a few of Scar's DCA OCs roam around in Nebula Valley as well.

Also. Glorious shipping between our characters. Celestino turned from a wholesome bot into a wholesome bot with a freaky side that is most definitely Not Safe For Tumblr lmao. But yeah, all that stuff has been limited to discord but I wanna start sharing more of it, because we've been having so much fun with it.

It's also the reason why work has been so slow on Dark Matter, actual TEP chapters as well as my others AUs, BUT THE BRAIN WANTS WHAT IT WANTS and it wants more Vesper/Celestino and Apollo/Selene (Vesper and Selene being some of Scar's AMAZING OCs and I love them so fucking much aswfjadklfjkklgfjdkldsjklsajflkas they make me feral I am not normal about them).
