I thank my lucky stars for the existence of fiction and its concessions that allow me to completely forget my real moral compass 😂
All that is to say, I'm absolutely enjoying The Evolution of Sin trilogy ❤️ The passion, the complexity, the angst... 🔥🔥🔥
I highly recommend it if you all like:
Mysterious, dualistic and mercurial alpha male character.
A MC that struggles with her desires and her moral compass while slowly coming into her confidence and empowerment.
Dysfunctional family relationships.
Complex and flawed characters with tons of issues.
Angst. A lot of it. The "I'm suffering with this book" kind of angst.
❌ Avoid if you are not up to delve into the messy consequences of cheating, betrayal and the "oh, I had an affair with this gorgeous man which turns out to be my estranged sister's long-term boyfriend" trope.
PS: I'm reaching the end of the second book, so I'm saying this without having an idea of how everything is going to end 😂
PS2: the only things I don't like too much are some generalizations/misconceptions about some countries, but honestly a lot of north american writers have them.
