They come in every color. Johnny loves inclusivity <3 An Ooghelle is a crafted creature created by Johnny to do his dirty work. They are an amalgamation of different varieties of rat, dog, and goat dna, bound with magickal incantations to hold life, bound to Johnny's soul. They run in packs, and are largely self sufficient, patrolling the grounds of his keep and warding off any dangers. They are also very loyal and loving creatures, protecting their family with a fierce passion, being goo goo gaa gaa for play time, and also practice no specific mating tendencies, as they are magickally constructed and can't breed... yet. Instead they adopt all newly created Ooghelle into their Battalions with complex rituals of play, challenges, and lessons. They often test newcomers by racing them against the fittest Oog, analyzing and attempting to steal any treasures they've acquired for their master (they love to be praised for bringing him potentially rare and magical trinkets), and allowing them to test their instincts against any potential prey, or intruder. The Ooghelle have their own complicated form of communication consisting of high and low pitched chirps, clicks and growls, the expression and positions of their tails, and their general body language. They are expressive creatures, and they often accidentally bond with the townspeople of which Johnny shares his territory, which he generally doesn't mind.
