Raul Malo - I know most of my followers may not even know who he is. Amazing, he was amazing. He has the voice of an angel. My family and I have seen the Mavericks numerous times, and each time left feeling happy and uplifted. My husband and I saw him solo in a very small venue once and it was if we got to know him. It was very intimate, telling stories and showing his humor. This song is close to my heart. He told the story about it at that performance......it was inspired by an old Ukrainian woman who spoke of her husband who had passed. She talked of finding comfort in dancing with the memory of him. It brought me to tears then. And now. Fly high, Raul. Your life has been such a blessing to your wife, family, and to this world. You will be missed.
