The Mellows - Smoke From Your Cigarette (1955)
While reading a Lou Reed bio, the author mentioned that this was one of Lou's favorites, especially Lillian Leach's vocals. I'm not usually a big fan of most doo wop but Lou was spot on about this song - just listen to her vocals around (1:11), and you'll know what I mean.
