t: the rogue Jonathan is old and tired and cranky and does his best to avoid fights, although that wouldn't be necessary if he'd stop picking fights. He feels compelled to tie up a lot of loose ends, so he's going back to all of his old grudges and reopening them, not really because he's still as fiery about them as he used to be, but because he just wants all these old hurts to stop pricking at him late at night.
He just wants everything to stop but he has no idea how.
t: the rogue Scarecrow is stuck between loving their job and knowing that it's slowly killing Jon and worrying about that. He'll be crass and bold and insulting but he'll also be the one to try to secure friendlier ties for Jonathan, because he knows that alone Jon can't survive.
t: master of fear Jonathan is a nervous wreck and inexperienced Rogue and also reckless and prone to fucking up. He's really really passionate about his subject, and angry, so angry and hurt and lashing out at everything. Everything feels fresh and new for him so he's a much more emotionally-charged man.
