i'm gonna hit ya with a few rare premium selection headcanons, MWAH (also tagging @xinxiins 'cus wenzhe headcanon with qianru mention~)
patrick patrick has very sensitive skin, or rather he's very sensitive to touch for two reasons: 1. he's very weird about it so he focuses on it too much and gets too tense and feels it too much; 2. gleipnir~! gleipnir is technically alive in a magical object kind of way and because it's largely made of 'living' things (the footstep of a cat, the breath of a fish, etc.), so it reacts to touch in a way that is very odd to describe for patrick who feels it, on one hand if you press down it's like putting something very hot to his skin but it's also literally his skin so the feeling permeates from the inside out, he reacts instantly and mostly negatively; it's not an inherently painful feeling (unless you scratch at it/dig your nails into the gleipnir patches, that hurts) but it's off-putting and since he reacts instinctively (pulling/pushing away) it's a momentary loss of control, which we patrick experts know he loathes~
eunjae yknow i would have posted this sooner if it weren't for eunjae? i wrote the others before theirs because they're so painfully elusive not even i get easy access to them; but here we go, somewhere, deep down though not so deep that it can't be easily accessed let's be real, eunjae desires escalation. they desire that things get out of control, that snapping turns into shouting, that threats of violence are offered. and then they desire to come out on top of it, triumphant, superior. physical pain doesn't scare them (infinitely better than emotional pain) and for some unaddressed reason they seek the retribution of coming out as the stronger one in a situation like this.
hyun hyun experiences a lot of phantom sensations from way back during their captivity, and the ones that annoy them the most are the ones that affect their hands, they can go numb and cold (tight shackles) and keeping their hands healthy and useful is one of their main self-care priorities in life, so yknow. this is featured in their model verse as well, but i'm trying to decide whether it's simply genetics or nerve-damage from something in their youth.
sarang sarang takes a lot more pride in her archery than she's willing to admit, mostly because inviting people into seeing how proud and delighted she is about skills she had to work hard to earn - because she was not a natural her skills are the result of years of hard work - means also giving them the power to demean her for it (tell her someone like her should focus on other skills, judge archery as a whole, etc), and since picking up a bow was the first thing she did for herself and without outside input it's very sacred to her
geun geun is the beaten bruised kid you find hiding behind a store with his scraped knees pulled up to his chest, and if you try to get closer or ask him if he needs help, he stares at you with the anger of a thousand suns, and he will always partly be this kid, he constantly gets in trouble in which he gets the shit sort of beaten out of him, he's managed to become slippery and talkative enough to get out of most instances, but sometimes he'll simply be surrounded and it gets easier to protect his stomach and face and let it happen than try to get away and anger them further, and he'll always refuse help, the closer you are, the more he'll bite
wenzhe wenzhe is the last person qianru contacted, canonically, so law enforcement did approach him regarding her case and this is unfortunately how he even found out about it in full drama fashion; he is the last person she contacted, and he is the only person she reached out to before her untimely demise, and the message is marked as read. wenzhe does, in a way, play a part in her death. the self-loathing he periodically spirals into often leads him to resenting the people closest to him, for choices he made in their regard, so he denied her attention for misguided, selfish reasons (also because too much of wenzhe's life revolves entirely around him, you can be self-centred and hate yourself) this is something post-qianru death wenzhe exhibits less because it's what he has to learn
felix NOW!!! I CAN'T SAY MUCH HERE that would spoil his character because i'm gonna get you to watch link click OR SO HELP ME (butonlyifyouwanttoobviously🥺) but i personally read him as someone who's as self-aware as he's uncertain about his circumstances; to give you some tiny insights, he got into modelling because he was fucking broke, but he seemed very dissatisfied with it until he met his boss that, to put it very simply, took a liking to him and became his direct sponsor of sorts? there's a bit of favoritism there lmao which felix pays by doing side-gigs, BUT I DIGRESS-- the scenes that show felix getting into modelling or doing a specific side-gig are depicted with this odd sense of resigned dissatisfaction on felix' part. personally, i interpret him as being generally unhappy with his circumstances, but not naive about it. he's not gullible in the slightest, he's repeatedly shown to be locked the fuck in, so why would a person who is unhappy but not too naive to get out stay? simple, he understands what privileges he's gaining out of it. his connections are dangerous, and why would he give them up? this makes more sense when watching the show, but my headcanon here is that i interpret felix, based on promotional videos as well, to be only dissatisfied with certain aspects and not the whole deal. i also think his weird dynamic with his boss is somewhat psychosexual while also transcending sex as a whole, a queerplatonic and/or nonsexual dom sub dynamic if you will and blurred lines as to who's what--
