James Harrison // Oceans Ate Alaska 08/26/15 - L3 Nightclub - St. Catharines, ON The Node Tour
OH MY GODDDD last night was so much fun. Last night was the Node Tour with Oceans Ate Alaska, In Hearts Wake, Like Moths to Flames and Northlane. When I first got into the venue I went over to the In Hearts Wake merch and Jake Taylor was there and I got a picture with him and he's so nice oh my god. And their set was AMAZING. Like his vocals live are fucking on point, and the rest of the band had so much energy and aaahhhh just so ducking good. Oceans Ate Alaska was the first band, but I'm not too into them sadly :( but they sounded pretty good live??? They had really good energy though. I met Chris last, but they were the band before Northlane. And Jesus fucking Christ. Like Moths to Flames was so amazing live. Chris really got the crowd going. His vocals and the band were literal perfection and their set was just so much fun. I met him after and he was so sweet and I got his autograph and stuff and he was just so nice. All of them were so nice hahah. While we were waiting in between sets Marcus walked by and into the back. I got a picture with him too and he's really sweet and he seemed genuinely happy to be playing in Vancouver (not that the other bands weren't, but he was ALWAYS smiling). When he was on stage he always made sure to touch people's hands too when they put them out and usually they ignore it when fans put their hands out, but he made sure to give everyone a fist bump or touch their hand. He just looked so happy and had so much energy and it was awesome. I left sweaty and sore, but honestly so much fun. All these bands are sick live and have so much talent I can't even put it into words. But yeah, if the Node Tour is coming to you THEN YOU BETTER FUCKING GO OR YOURE MISSING OUT.
