It's September, the "back to school" month! 🎒 To celebrate, I'm sharing my School Project Guide for The Sims 2, featuring new teen careers and custom schools.

Whether your Sims want to attend Hogwarts, explore the Belgian education system, or experience the US school structure, this guide has a range of options. These custom schools and careers will offer your Sims a more diverse and immersive educational journey.

This is not so much a teen career. It's a new school system so teens don't have homework, but learn skills instead.

Projects & Themes - The School System

Keep in mind - Teens need to change to the "Vacation" school type found here: http://s2idownloads.blogspot.be/2013/12/new-school-boarding-school-vacation.html - Though teens don't go to regular school and don't make homework, they need to work very hard on their skills. - If you use another school type (like my school in shifts), teens can still go to school. - This is very interesting if you want your sims to go to college, but even when they don't go to college it's good to follow this school system to have some skills already when they start a career. - There's an upgrade for every career suiting the field of study the sim chose. E.g.: Field of study Economics-Math has the upgrade Economy - These careers will all have PTO3 so teens have enough time to work on their skills. - This career asks really a lot of skills from your teen sims. It's best to already have some skill points that are needed for this career.

The School Project debuts "Chicago Schools - Worst in the Nation?", the first film in a web series examining Chicago's public education system. After the screening is followed by a panel discussion moderated by Carol Marin. This program was streamed and recorded by Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV).

Victor Montañez (of the Center for College Access and Success) is featured in the documentary and took part in the panel discussion following the premier.
