Magical Family Bloodline
Queen Serenity may have lost her kingdom, but she gave birth to one incredible daughter whom she also reincarnated along with the sailor guardians and her future son-in-law. There are times where I do wish we got to see more of The Moon Kingdom before disaster hit. There are even times where I wish we had a whole episode dedicated to Queen Serenity (and not just an episode related to help reawaken Usagi's powers or anything) because I think it would've made a nice filler episode if Usagi were to ask Luna what life was like before everything went downhill and instead of having her flat out say some stuff, we'd have the scene cut to a whole flashback focused on Serenity. There are some things that the queen and her daughter have in common aside from their bun-heads. While they will go to great lengths to protect the people around them, they also had their kingdoms in great danger. For Serenity, it was the rein of Queen Beryl, The Shitennou, and Metalia. For Usagi, it was the rise of Wiseman and The Black Moon Clan who took over Crystal Tokyo before targeting Chibiusa. Even Chibiusa had a hand in causing problems for her home such as taking The Silver Crystal. I do love how this represents how imperfect these ladies are even in a position of power. They make mistakes, but they're wiling to do whatever it takes to restore what was broken.
