All these people going to watch Muse Simulation Theory tonight are so lucky 😭😭😭
I just watched the Simulation Theory Film and I don't know what to say, it was sooo good. I want to watch it over and over, it brings back all the memories from when I saw it at London's Olympic Stadium and The O2 Arena, just mind blown 🤯
I'm just wondering if the box set has all the songs that were left out on there 🤞🤞

Waiting for The Simulation Theory box set to come like..
The theory that we may be able to create a virtual reality, that it is an unfalsifiable truth that we are already in a simulation, what that means for the evolution of our true nature, and why we don’t need to worry about any of it.
Firstly, I think to be able to predict that a simulation or virtual reality will exist, we need to accept it as being a plausible explanation for the reality we live in today. We have to accept it being the truth of what reality is, and how it’s already happening, in order to accept that it could be our future. To do this, we need to change our understanding of what we refer to as “physical” or “material” reality. We’ll be stuck in this debate of what the nature of reality, or the nature of humanity is, for God knows how long, if we don’t. We can’t keep working with processes we don’t understand on a technological level because one day we may create the technologies that will understand what’s going on better than us. Now I know that seems counterintuitive because how could we ever create something with an artificial intelligence greater than our own as a combined consciousness? Well, everything else seems to be counterintuitive in modern physics lately, what with the discoveries and implications of quantum physics, so it’s not too far-fetched to assume it could happen one day. Therefore, it’s not a question of whether it can happen. It’s whether we’re ready to accept the possibility that it will or indeed... that it already has and we just don’t realize it.
That point aside... Eventually we will have to understand the nature of humanity and the nature of reality anyway, if we want it to evolve passed the point of just us making our systems more efficient technologically so that they can do the work for us. So, here is my take on the simulation or virtual reality theory. I don’t think anything is “created”, as in it happened in the past. I think it is in a constant state of creation. Meaning that it is creating constantly. I think that change is what constitutes creation. That being said, the creator is part of its creation always, but also is the creator always, otherwise creation would cease. It’s not too far-fetched to assume that when we “die”, we don’t just reappear again like a CPU does in a game. In a game that we play, when our character dies, it has more lives before the game is over. Well, what if the game is never over? What if it starts all over again based on its information processing and feedbacking? The game system appears to no longer work when it stops responding. In other words, it shuts down and it never starts back up again, when it is expected to. It becomes a dead system perceivably. But that’s not its end. All you would need to do, to make the game system function again, is detach the wires (if it has any, some gaming systems just run by battery alone, and are portable), go into it’s processor, take out the non-working parts, replace them with new or second hand parts, reattach the wires, and then turn it on. It may not work as great as it did before, depending on the parts you’ve replaced it with, but it will still work. You can still play your game. I think the nature of reality and of humanity works very much like that. Even if we aren’t it’s ultimate creator, we are inevitably it’s reason to start or end its creation. So, therefore, what I really think happens when we “die”, is we just shift into a new character, and we choose that character based on our information processing and feedbacking. What we’ve already learned and what we have yet to learn to advance our being. I do not believe that when we leave our body behind that we lose our consciousness and our vitality of being. Rather, the more information we have received and have yet to receive about our body and it’s environment, the more ability and reason it has to reboot itself, either using a new body, or reviving the old one. After all, information processing and feedbacking is how the human mind works, does it not? It learns from its previous experience. It expects its own learned information to occur next because that is making sense of the situation, isn’t that so? But sometimes to make sense of a situation, we have to adapt to new perspectives and new understandings because to paraphrase Einstein: "We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."
Working with our current accepted theory, and adding to it to explain why creation has came to be, is fine, but maybe a rethinking of it is needed instead. I’m suggesting, in my own rethinking series about the nature of reality and humanity, that the Big Bang bangs because of its information processing and feedbacking at every conscious moment. Are we not what knows and understands that it went Bang? Perhaps the Bang hasn’t happened, but rather, it is still banging. Perhaps it never stops banging and can only stop when the moment comes for when it just doesn’t have any more information left to learn, or that it loses its ability to receive and contain information. There must be a strong and large enough system to hold all that information, otherwise it just can’t function efficiently and correctly for its nature. It will have to go under to rewire and rework itself. It will have to “die” to “live” again.
I back up Einstein’s general relativity theory, and I back up his sentiment that cause has to come before an effect, or that both must be in alignment with each other for anything to happen at all. In other words, if it does not happen in “time-space”, causality must be the way of what is and how it is. It is either the chicken comes before the egg or the chicken and the egg are one in the same principle and process. The how and the what must always be for it’s doing to occur. I think it’s more than likely the latter than the former because I don’t think something happens and then something else happens. I don’t believe in “time-space”, or in any linear process of sequence of events. I believe in an event that changes its form using its energy. A continuous event that uses itself to adapt and advance itself. I believe that all parts work together to create the whole because at the fundamental level, the parts are already whole. They are always one even if they appear to be different and separate. I believe in the philosophy of the Tao because it makes sense to me the most out of any other theory out there currently. Especially Western-created ones. So, in my accepted belief system, other than the what and the how, all else is just an illusion. Similar to when you watch a film and it looks like it’s a continuous picture that moves and changes in a forward progression to explain it’s story. But when you slow the film down, you can see that it’s a series of frames slightly different from one another. Yet, all are frames, are they not? Do all frames work together to create the moving picture that is perceived? Of course they do. So consider your nature that way. A frame that needs another frame to see a bigger or longer picture of what is happening. Agree? Self needs other, few needs many, what needs how. Polarities that appear contradictory are complementary. This is the philosophy of the Tao.
So, while we may think and believe of ourselves as human, it is not unreasonable or improbable to say that our evolution will progress to such a stage where we will adapt to the changes of our form and identity, and advance to the level where we will no longer call ourselves human and coin a new term to refer to our species as. That’s what we always have done, we’ve just forgotten. We have forgotten that we once did not consider ourselves human, but rather neanderthals or apes (there is a massive debate between Darwinian enthusiasts on which we were before we became homosapiens). Furthermore, no matter what that form and identity may be, or how it changes throughout our evolution, we are still energy and information at the fundamental level, because that is what is needed to create the next stage of evolution. That’s what runs the process even if it’s not what has created it. It’s how it functions. It is the power behind all form and identity. Energy and information. But they are not the same. One is a property, the other is a description of that property. I.e: The grass is green. Is it not both grass and green. Green describes it’s identity, it is not its property, and it cannot sufficiently define its nature. Humanity makes the grave mistake of identifying itself by its descriptions, rather than it’s properties. It defines itself by its appearance rather than it’s behaviour in every moment. They say the human is not what it does. This is incorrect. The human is what it does, but it is not defined by what it has done or will do. Only what it is doing in the present. We should, in all honesty, call ourselves a beingdoing or a doingbeing. Being and doing are one in the same. We should erase the “human” aspect altogether because it does not imply relationship and connection. But that’s what we are. We are relationship and connection. We work together, not separately. We are not an individuality, we are a totality. So the “human” term just isn’t relative. We’re not a “thing”. We are what derives meaning from “things”. We take from it and give it back out. Information is not our true nature but is the way in which we can describe it, so therefore information and energy, at the fundamental level, is what we are and how we work. So long as we don’t call ourselves a “thing”, we should be good with all other descriptions. I better identify with the term “spirit” than “human”. Spirit is relationship and connection. It is the sum of all parts that work together to create the whole. That is what I would rather identify myself as if I have to identify myself at all. I do not like to be referred to as a “thing”. A “thing” does not have consciousness with which to know and understand itself with. A “thing” does not think or feel. A “thing” is an illusion of my mind, not my nature, and it is not good enough to represent my existence or anyone else's. The problem with humanity is that it uses each other and values “things”, rather than the other way around. This is a problem because we can’t understand each other and only place great importance on what we have rather than who we are. This needs to change if we want the world to change for the better.
I believe we are a marvellous species with the capability to adapt to any changes that may or may not occur. The reason why I believe that, is simply because we always have done. That’s why we are who and what we are now. Evolution is a wonderful thing and we should never be afraid of it. Life is whatever and however you want it to be. Don’t worry about it working. Live it and you will come to find out that it will always work, so long as you can allow it to, and stop trying to make it into something that it is not. So yes, to answer the very first question about can reality be a simulation or a virtual reality. Yes, I do believe that it can, and agree, in my own sense, that it might be one already. However, I just don’t think we need to worry about it and try to change it. I think we should just let nature take its course and understand it as best we can. Once again, to paraphrase Einstein: “The goal of scientific pursuit should not be merely to make use of the world around us, it should be to understand it, fundamentally, no matter what use it may have.”
I’m no Einstein or Buddha, but this is some wisdom from me to you: Stop trying to figure out what reality is and how it works. If you quiet your mind and you pay attention and listen to what’s inside you, the reality around you will tell you what and how it is, as the what and how is all there is. Regardless of whether it’s a simulated or physical reality we’re living in, it doesn’t matter because you’re what puts energy, information and meaning into it anyway. It may be either a continuous cause and effect progression happening in “time”, or it may be that it is both cause and effect at the same “time”, working together, and that is how it can happen and function efficiently for forever. It’s true nature is, ultimately, energy and information, and our nature is also, only we have the consciousness to interpret and perceive it, so we can also give it, and ourselves, meaning. Therefore, we possess the ability to adapt to it, and to work together to advance it. This is all you need to know. The what and the how. That’s it. All else is illusion. It does not need to be known. I would suggest, to understand it better, that you stop trying to, and you stop worrying about trying to, because it will only kill you. Let the natural way the Universe is, and already works, take its course, no matter if you don’t know or understand what it is and how it can. There is no wisdom to knowing everything. Not knowing everything is much wiser because you won’t identify yourself by it and worry about it. Knowing nothing about nature, and letting it tell you what it is and how it works, is wisdom.
Thank you.
If I’m a sim I fuckin hate whoever made and controls me like you’re a fuckin dick my man the only thing you got right with me is making me a lesbian. other than that fuck you
