Why do you refer your oc story as "the spades?" What's the story behind that?

WA OO OKAY Uuh its kinda a convoluted story but heres the stuff:

So the story itself revolves around this organized crime organization thing, they have different inter groups inside the whole thing and there are four of them, the Clubs, the Hearts, the Diamonds, and the Spades. It’s all card deck based and organized, plus cards are really fun to use as symbolism <3

Our main protagonists, and my main OC’s, are part of The Spades group, but the term “the spades” has kinda taken on a new meaning outside of the group itself in-universe. The Spades have two “generations” to them, the original Spades (that formed with the rest of the groups) had tried revolution on their own years prior to the story’s start, they were pretty much wiped out, many members were killed by Morris Muller, Calvin Lastname, and Joshua Bayheart (the three heads of the mob at that point), or just fled, leaving it at only three groups remaining. But then here comes our main’s, who kinda revive the Spades on their own (the original spades aren’t involved at all at this point) and using the blueprints and failures of the original Spades to form their own group, and ignite their own revolution. They work alongside the Diamonds to do this as well, which eventually leads to their success (there were a lot of factors building up to their success and the original spades failure but I won’t get into all that brgrvs) For reference, Benny is King Card of the Spades, Cory is King Card of the Diamonds, and Dee is Ace card for both (she is part of both groups because shes cool /j its becuase of internal fighting but its okay dont worry about it ) I think thats the three characters I talked about last time so yuh <3

So!! I refer to my story as “The Spades” due to the main cast belonging to the group of The Spades and the story revolving around the growing of the revolutionary group and their survival ! I use the name as a catch all for the whole story in many of my tags through because I’m lazy and cant/dont want to think of a proper name for the story behabe, so for right now its just The Spades because they are the main characters, sorry everyone else (Cory is a main character and head of the Diamonds but hes like,, an honorary spades member as Benny is an honorary diamonds member just because they’re brothers and worked closely with each other to commit murder,, I mean revolution ahha :))
