A annoying barking noise could be heard outside Corali's hive. She didn't have to wonder what was making the noise as Sapients rat-dog lusus was jumping up to look in the hive through a window. He seemed to have a boundless energy as he continued until she would come out.

» Only now do you notice the incessant barking upstairs.  Was that always there?  Your lusus huffs at you and scuttles away while you roll your eyes and head upstairs to the cactus garden.  Upon entering the cactus garden, you see (and hear) a dog barking and hopping to look in the window.  It takes you a few moments to remember that it’s Sapient’s lusus.  You practically fly to the door and yank it open.
