When she’s not protecting lorehavens — schools for witches — she’s a monster hunter for hire. She has some pretty sketchy past (and current) affiliations, but with her dutiful alliance to the witch community despite her lack of magic, her own character is found to be beyond reproach.

Sometimes a woman just wants to escape society and live in the woods, you know? Might as well get paid for it 💵

INTERN NEWS RECAP: Legalizing Marijuana

Now, while I can’t admit to ever using so-called substances, I can tell a quick story about my high school sweetheart, and maybe you can paint the picture for yourself:

We met on the basketball court during a lunch hour in the fall of our sixteenth year. All the athletes, myself included, were playing a solid game of street hoops when, with one hair flip, from across the blacktop, she caught my eye. Martha Jane, wearing a fluffy green sweater, was the toast of the town. I sauntered over to her, and never looked back.

We could have made it big, my friends and I, big in the wide world of street hoops. But the girl, the girl.

She made me laugh, she made me cry, then laugh again, then mostly just a lot more laughing. Then hungry. We watched movies together, listened to music together, crafted together. I remember, more or less, the good times. And pretty much nothing else. It’s hard to say who broke whose heart. Martha. Martha Jane.

Virgo August 23 - September 22

Today, walking through the rain, you encountered a building you’d never noticed before, a library in an old converted mansion.  When you enter, there are three baby llamas in the foyer.  They are waist high and rather cute, but when you kneel to pet one on the head, it rams its forehead into yours.  You jump back, and anger wells up inside of you—rage even—that feels uncomfortable in its force.  You’ve never wanted to kick something’s ass as much as you want to kick this llama’s ass.  Then you hear the librarian nearby start to laugh.  “They’re so cute!” she says.  Listen closely for alternatives to violence.
