Friends and talks | Raye.
As soon as she could, a very nervous Katie Matlin ran outside of her room, only wearing pants, an old t-shirt and sneakers. No make-up on, as natural and free as she once was. Even though her life was as messy as she never thought it'd be, she found herself worrying more about her best friend and her little niece. She knew Raye was having a hard time by herself, she wanted her to speak up her mind. Her father wasn't around her anymore and her boyfriend was nowhere to be found, therefore, Katie figured out she could as well need a friend. Once she was in the kitchen, she took ice cream and pop-tarts and ran away from the silence on her household. The black haired teen jumped inside her car, driving away with her doovey playlist on.
While she was on the road, she started thinking about her life in general. Everything was too messy and she had no idea how to make it right. Somehow all the time she found herself doing everything wrong and nothing (even if she tried her best) would make it okay. Jake was nowhere to be found anymore, all he cared about was work, they didn't even see eachother sometimes, he'd just arrive and fall asleep. Her little feud with her mother was getting bigger as the time went on and Maya was just a little girl, suddenly she was feeling lonely in a world filled with people she loved just walking around. Yet again all she cared about that exact moment was Raye, she needed her more than anyone and she was ready to try and fix all her best friend's problems. Once she found herself in front of Raye's door, she knocked shyly three times, awaiting for someone to open the door, the image of her best friend's father making her cringe, she had no idea how to deal with that kind of things. Once she saw her face the former soccer star couldn't help but sharing a tender smile to her, as they decided, wife "I missed you so much" Katie whispered against Raye's ear once she hold her in her arms, tightly.
