Jade let out a cry when one of the knifes the body guard had thrown sliced her arm, and she quickly knocked him out with a roundhouse kick to the temple, then falling into a defensive crouch, waiting to see if any of the other guards in the building had heard. When she determined they hadn't, she pressed her hand against the wound on her arm and the one on her side. Sloppy. Sloppy was what that was. She had been distracted, thinking about her god forbid date, she hadn't noticed the guard in the corner. And she had paid for it. The senator she was being paid to take out was out cold on the floor. She pulled out her last sai, and threw it, nailing the man between the eyes, two of the spikes in his eyes, the longest middle spike halfway into his brain. She disappeared into the darkness, still clutching her wounds. She made it a safe distance away before sitting on the roof of a building, wrapping a bandage around the cuts, then glancing up when a clock tower in the distance chimed 10. Shit. She was supposed to meet roy at 9:30. She carelessly stood, stumbling a bit at the dizziness that came from blood loss. It wasn't too bad, or so she told herself. She had her things for the date at the hotel room she had been using, and groaned inwardly when she realized she would have to hack into the Justice League Zeta tubes. Best case scenario, she would be there 10:30. Jade cursed under her breath as she changed into nicer civilian clothes- long sleeved short white sweater dress, and thigh high leather boots, and a leather jacket. Jade hurried to the nearest zeta tube location, and popped in a contact that would let her in, fooling the system into thinking she was Roy. She dared to hope that Roy was still there, waiting on her. Worst case scenario, shed find some desperate boy to take advantage of. Or just go looking for some villain to team up with. She growled when the system denied her access, and she waited a bit, and tried again, this time it worked. She stepped inside, programming it for New York, and transporting out. She stepped out, and walked a few steps before running smack into her redhead archer. Jade let out an irritated yelp, laced with pain when her body screamed at her that she was sliced open in two places. She looked up, realizing that it was Roy, let her scowl soften the tiniest bit. "Hey, Red. " she greeted him.
