The Apfelboden’s Decks
This is my favorite part of the tour... we love our outdoor spaces! I love serving dinner by candlelight out on the porch, or wrapping up with a blanket and reading outside the kitchen.

The Apfelboden’s Decks
This is my favorite part of the tour... we love our outdoor spaces! I love serving dinner by candlelight out on the porch, or wrapping up with a blanket and reading outside the kitchen.
The Apfelboden’s Bunkhouse
We also expanded our basement to accommodate a bathroom and a bigger living space. We wanted our nieces and nephews to come visit us from Newcrest for vacation and enjoy the beautiful countryside. We set up bunk beds for them and their friends from @dreamcatchersims4 and gave them a space to play when they were stuck inside... that feels like they are outside!
The Apfelboden’s Upper Floors
We get our workout heading upstairs. They were originally outside but with the redecoration we decided to move them inside for easier access. One thing we loved was @cocooni loft, we put their original paintings up here to enjoy as a converted quest bedroom with it’s great views. We also have a bath and our bedroom on the second level. We will go outside and enjoy our deck in a little bit... our bedroom doesn’t need to be a sanctuary... we have one outside!
The Apfelboden’s Kitchen The last stop before we head upstairs is the kitchen. We both enjoy cooking but we would rather spend our time outside... no surprise there... we picked up most of our kitchen clutter while out perusing for furniture. We were so happy to find bright stuff to fill our home with!
The Apfelboden’s Living Room Gregor is hanging out in the living room “meditating” aka napping... we just wanted a place tucked away from the rest of the house to come and relax! We are in love with these pics from @eversims they bring a little of the outside in. :)
The Apfelboden’s Sitting Room
We almost forgot our sitting room!! When we first moved here and were working on the redecorating I found this great fireplace from @13pumpkin31, unfortunately, its not a working one... but I came home from wondering around the local market and Gregor had filled it with candles! #romantic
The Apfelboden’s Dining Room We have two dining rooms - one inside and one outside... did we mention that we LOVE the outdoors! Our dining room has some amazing furniture a concrete dining table by @kiwisims4, beautifully covered chairs by @awesims and a great light pendent by @peacemaker-ic
The Apfelboden’s Entry Welcome to our home! We want to give you the grand tour of our redecorated Zehause. Our entryway has this beautiful rug by @lina-cherie and the large painting of Willow Creek. We miss being so close to it but we LOVE Windenburg!
