I think I was about 4 years old, and my Mom took us to shows there often. This started my life-long-love of Black artists and live performances. The Apollo Theater impacted this little #HarlemGirl's life immensely and I am really happy that its legacy and history are documented and celebrated in this film. _____________________ From www.hbo.com: :The Apollo" chronicles the unique history and contemporary legacy of the New York City landmark, the Apollo Theater.
