Imagine Aiden and Defalt are like a little hacker team, sort of like Aiden and Damian, but do vigilante stuff (//cutelittledefaltbeingaidenscutelittlesidekickomg), like stopping crimes, playing minigames (and Defalt of course wins them since he technically MADE THEM //whatafuckingcheaterwhataloserilovehim), and all that. But Aiden's still has a hard time getting over not only Lena, but the recent Nicky kidnapping thing (//damnudamian) and then the Clara thing... (1/8 sorry it's long D:)

He tries not to think too much about it and tries not to get too involved with Defalt because he’s a really great partner and Aiden really doesn’t want him to be hurt in anyway, but he’s also just a kid and he doesn’t need that trouble. Anyway, they end up getting together and life’s pretty good and Aiden thinks this might be the one thing in his life that finally goes his way, but then he pisses off someone (Lucky Quinn maybe? Idk) (2/8)

and Defalt gets caught in the crossfire at their shared apartment like Clara did, but he gets shot in the side or something and Aiden thinks it’s because of him and Defalt tries to assure him that, no, of course it’s not your fault but Aiden refuses to believe it and he waits till Defalt falls asleep and then leaves. Defalt doesn’t see him again and he’s kinda pissed, because he called Aiden, the hospital called Aiden, yet no answer, like what if he died or something. (3/8)

He even thought maybe Aiden came when he slept but before asking the nurse he knows that he didn’t. When he gets out of the hospital, he goes to their apartment, storms in ready to give Aiden a piece of his mind but- nothing. There’s no sign of him, and his clothes are gone, his stuff just everything and Defalt is so confused and starts crying like, was it him? Was he such a bad boyfriend for getting hurt? But he sees Aiden stopping a robbery and chases after him (4/8; 1/2 of the way done!)

and starts tearing up a bit and demanding to know what he did to make Aiden hate him so and Aiden just shakes his head and says nothing, I just don’t like you anymore. Defalt calls him out on his bullshit like, “a few weeks ago we were making out on your damn bed and banging and now you won’t be in the room with me?? Don’t bullshit me Pierce.” So something happens and Aiden moves back in (or Defalt just claims occupancy at his new apartment) and Aiden refuses to touch Defalt (5/8)

even look at him and tries to limit his time with him because he thinks if Defalt’s around him, he’ll get hurt. (Kinda cliché I know) but Defalt still makes pancakes in the morning and smiles at Aiden showing him the pan and asking if he wanted some (playfully because of course he already made some for him and he used to do this all the time before the accident) but Aiden doesn’t respond just shrugs. (He barely even talks to Defalt anymore, like basic one/two word sentences) and (6/8)

this usually doesn’t hurt Defalt but something just hurts one morning and his smile falls and he just drops them pan and starts sobbing because his boyfriend won’t talk to him, his side hurt, and something else just makes him starting cry and he can’t take and just breaks down. Aiden wants to do something, go over there and comfort him, something but he refuses to take that risk of hurting Defalt again and just walks out of the apartment. Defalt stops after a long time and falls asleep, but(7/8)

wakes up in Aiden’s bed and, then of course, there’s no sign of him. No clothes, no nothing. Like he was never there but there’s a note on the door that says, “I’m doing this because I love you.” Which makes Defalt start crying again and cursing Aiden Pearce’s existence. And it ends with him saying, “If you really fucking loved me, you’d be here with me, now!” :( Sad. (Part 2, maybe? Idk) (8/8)

headcanon that when Defalt gets sick, he gets very clingy and wants someone by him every second while he's sick. Doesn't matter if it's just a cough, just be there. He also gets very cuddly so his partner usually ends up getting sick too and then Defalt feels bad and tries to make up for it by making them soup and getting them tissues and all that. (Defalt is cute little thing that just wants to be taken care of when he's a sick babby)

Can you just imagine Aiden keeping Defalt's name in his phone as something cute like Babe or <3 or even just Defalt<3? (Then Defalt takes Aiden's phone and change it to Bae or something)

but defalt changes it to 'bae' and aiden decides to keep it b/c he feels like it'll be easier to say to clara and t-bone that he's dating someone rather then telling them he's keeping in touch with the hacker that stole their shit and exposed secrets to them that they werent ready to know
