   “ that  is  not  how  it  appears  from  where  i’m  sitting . ”   where  he’s  sitting  is ,   of  course ,   atop  fukumi’s  bed .   he  doesn’t  look  at  nomiko  as  he  speaks ;  it’s  rare  he  lets  his  irritation  show ,   &&  he  doesn’t  like  to  act  this  way  in  front  of  fukumi .   but  it’s  difficult  when  she’s  here ,   despite  everything ,   &&  her  friends  are  just  OKAY  with  it .

“ remind  me  why  we  should  believe  you ? ”

                 he  is  grateful  for  her  thoughtfulness  before  she’s  even  done  anything .   tokoyami  turns  his  head  to  look  at  her ,   tearing  his  eyes  away  from  his  notebook  for  a  moment ,   but  instead  of  having  a  blanket  placed  around  his  shoulders ,   it’s  fukumi’s  arms ,   wrapped  around  him  in  a  hug  from  behind .

“ ah ,   yes . ”   there’s  a  undertone  of  amusement  in  his  low  voice .   “ i  believe  it  will ,   thank  you . ”   he  sets  down  his  pen ,   leaning  back  against  her  chest  &&  tipping  his  head  back  to  look  up  at  her .   she  is ,   indeed ,   very  warm ,   “ how  thoughtful  you  are . ”

Thank you for the kind words. If any of you saw me in the street you'd probably laugh at my stupidity, as I'd probably have my shoe caught in a gutter or some shit. But at any rate, it's good to hear such nice things from people like this. Thanks again.
