I'm endlessly entertained by how my best friend and I have both been out of the States for over a year now, traveling through Europe (me) and Asia (her), but are now making plans to meet up not in Paris or Amsterdam like the last two times, but in small towns in Illinois.
Hello Everyone,
This is to say that I will be away until Friday. My mom was determined that we celebrate my birthday in Paris. So, that is where I shall be. I'm sure it'll be a lovely week, and I'm excited to return to my favorite places. More than anything, I'm excited to travel for the first time since September. It will, however, be strange to be in Paris and to see neither of my best friends. My last two visits were to see apricot-tea-and-honey and thebadaboums and made for some of my most memorable travels. So, I will be thinking of you both and wishing you could be with us. ♥
Anyway, I'm supposed to have Internet at the hotel, so I should be able to answer messages throughout the week and make sparse live updates, but I won't be spending much time on Tumblr. (I don't think I need to explain why.) I have my queue set up to make a decent number of posts a day, so you shouldn't notice too much of a difference. However, the queue means there'll probably be a few more film-related posts than usual. Hopefully, you won't mind too much, and I'll be back to my usual posting schedule on Saturday. I promise to at least return with lots and lots of photos.

It gives me great pleasure to say that my best friend is now on Tumblr. On many occasions over the last day, I've come across a lovely post on my dash only to realize it was from her. She, as L.M. Montgomery might have put it, is a kindred spirit of mine, as well as one of the most Awesome people I know.
