fabelyn replied to your post “Siri, how do I write a fandom post about a dumb topic without pissing...”
find a fandom small or dead enough ppl are happy to discuss anything
How about the Beelzebub fandom? Its pretty dead, I’m sure no one would mind me rambling on about it!
To the anon who send me these ogafuru feels
First of all, how dare you attack me with feels while I'm at work?? LOL
Secondly, I don't know what time zone you live in, so I'm going to post them a few hours later so everyone else can see it
laindir replied to your post: Am I the only non-Christian who gets tired of...
not quite sure which christianity discourse you’re referring to, but it sounds tiring already
Just in general. Like a text post will begin with someone conservative bringing up the Bible, and then all the replies are dissecting and interpreting what the Bible REALLY meant be. Or about Jesus. Or about the Gospels. Etc etc. I know its because Christianity is the largest religion, and Tumblr is largely Christian (American), even if only nominally, so of course there is tons of discourse about it.
But like, its one of the few topics that throws me off my groove. I go to tumblr to escape. I don’t mind a little bit of politics here and there and of course there are sensitive topics that I will like and reblog all the time. But there’s just something off about religion discourse, especially on a social media website like tumblr. It feels too intimate too quickly! Like you’re meeting an aquaintance at the grocery store and they immediately tell you their religious views. It feels stranger to me than if they told me they were into a new TV show. IDK if I make sense.
@laindir : it's just so terribly disappointing and I'm still lowkey pissed at him because what the hell, watsuki???
I know! Like, the manga he created was pretty wholesome, no weird fanservice, and yet he was hiding a dark secret in his closet this whole time. Like, he could have been any mangaka, which makes me so frustrated. I’m so sorry for you. I really hope the police catch the distributors he bought from.

did she give up her soul for cash?? is that it???? (and no i dont, bless uBlock origin)
I KNOW RIGHT, SHE HAS PERFECTLY SOULNESS EYES.
Unfortunately I see these ads on my mobile so, I can’t block it.
huffagh replied to your post “Given how many popular Jump manga are ending now-a-day, I have...”
Beelzebub was consistent in its humour it's good where it ended; it felt like a closed chapter because they graduated but he can totally pick it up again with the new baby that's born with the still humorous shenanigans. It ended at a potential start if that made sense
You hit the nail on the head. It was a great way to end the series, precisely for the reasons you mentioned. Everyone’s character arcs were generally resolved, and while they all achieved power upgrades of some sort, there was a feeling that a new conflict or story arc could begin at any moment, inviting chaos and comedy to return. It also leaves readers with the chance to imagine their own adventures. I find these kind of open endings well suited to post-modern manga like Beelzebub.

it's a bit of both I'd say, but I agree that blocking mean you don't even have to compromise on your part lol
Sometimes its nice not having to compromise, especially if its something easily avoidable like a tumblr user.
