THE CALGARY EYEOPENER -- FARM EMISSIONS
BY MONICA KIDD (FGJ ‘22) -- Late last month, Ottawa announced its intent to cut carbon emissions by 40 percent over the next eight years. Much of that plan targets the oil and gas industry, but another Alberta flagship industry is also being asked to change. In February, Ottawa earmarked $180 million dollars to help farmers become more efficient. And as the CBC’s Monica Kidd tells us, Alberta producers are already adapting. LISTEN HERE.
