Fun fact: me not being able to keep a book actually lead to the creation of these documents! So I guess I have the Librarians to thank for... everything...

The Librarians #633-05

-Department of Lost Histories

-Appear and disappear randomly

-Some how know the exact book you need

-(if you dog ear a book they will take your kneecaps)

(Rn: this was mentioned on a gossip page and I had to write it down. I’ve had some experiences with the Librarians, apparently you can only keep a book if you have “a written note from the headmaster”...odd.)

The second part of the safe cryptids! I’ve seen the Defleuren a couple of more times sense its Document was written, one usually joins me by the lake.

Momoiro #612-01

-Tall fuzzy creature that has a bone-textured face/mask

-Moves slowly, dragging its strands on the floor 

-Appears to performers the day of their debut, to watch from afar

-Believed to be a good omen, and people who have claimed to talk to them have said that they have a sweet voice that assures them everything will be ok

(RN: By far one of the nicest creatures. One time when I was up for a few days it visited and told be to be well rested and have a good night. Its voice was so calming.)

Defleuren (Day-fl-er-en) #612-02 

-Very shy, but friendly creature native to Camp Averno

-Nocturnal, comes out at night to feed off of the Nectar of flowers and flowers themselves.

-Often found by bodies of water as the Nectar makes them very thirsty

-Fur can be many different colors and they tend to be somewhere between 5-12 inches tall

-You can befriend them by sitting down and offering a freshly picked flower. Once befriended, Defleuren enjoy sitting alongside you while they eat their Nectar and flowers

-Not dangerous at ALL, may actually need protection from predators, its encouraged that you would step in if you see a one in danger

(RN: These are by far one of the most friendliest creatures. I've run into a couple on my night trips, got a pretty good documentation. The only things I have to add is that their fur is extremely soft and they make soft little sounds that are a mix between purring and chirping.)

Mushboi #212-01

-Stay in the DCD dorm and when no one is looking, they like to eat the students papers 

-Can make a scary face to frighten people away from their “snacks”

-size of an average mushroom, so the DCD students usually just pick them up and put them outside

Mushroom #212-02

Indigenous to: A.N.S, Averno Virginia. Can be found in The Tunnels of DUE and DCM, outside the entrance of DHS and the roof of DHP dorms

- 8 grow every 5 months

-There are trapped spirits in each one, if harvested correctly they will be lifelong spirit guides to whoever freed them. Never lacking in loyalty, the free spirits will assist you when you need them most, or even just pop in for a visit to have some fun. Each one has a different personality and Interests.

-Releasing a spirit is NOT a light commitment, once the spirit is free it is bound to the owner for life. Research well before attempting and only one spirit can be unleashed to one being. Be mindful

- When the spirit is free, the mushroom will become an accessory, changing depending on what the savior wishes (ex. Ring, necklace, earrings bracelet, anklet or even a tattoo. It will never break until the bond with the spirit is broken at death

-The spirit will only be unleashed upon those who have worthy intentions, what worthy means is determined by the spirit you are summoning

-How to harvest: Speak this spell “A spirit trapped between dimensions, A savior from the school unknown. With the words formed by my lips, let this spirit roam as I do, past the bound of time and space, and be there for me in hardship” Then tap the mushroom on its head and wait for a moment

(RN: I'm not going to go try the spell, not ready for that type of commitment. I will be observing the plants themselves and seeing if there is any difference in the behavior of the mushroom that could translate to the personality of the spirit. So that way if someone did want to have a soul bond, they would know vaguely what they are signing up for. I'll also be on the lookout for any students with mushroom jewelry.)

Danger level could differ on the type of spirit, but the mushrooms themselves are relatively harmless

Eyes of The Beholder #112-04

- A cloud of benign eyes that, if you make contact with it, will show you the best memories you have given people

-They generally float towards people who are sad or depressed

-They are not harmful and have been seen crying tears from their many eyes to water plants

-their tears also have medicinal use to boost production of serotonin

Here's the last two of the department cryptids that I have currently. Rather fitting that they are both bird-esc creatures.

Edit: Once again, my sleepless nights catch up with me in my mistakes. Oth was first drawn by Lucy, not Enoki. But Enoki does have mysterious ties to them.... might need some looking into

Anzu #423-00

-Department of Dead Languages 

-Take the form of a crow (RN:What other forms does he have?)

-Uses he/they pronouns

-Their cawing sounds a little...unusual and at times it definitely seems like the DDL students are talking to him.

-No one really knows where they came from, not even the DDL, although there are theories (RN:I would quite like to hear these theories) 

-He is ancient and spends most of his time in the DDL antique shop (Laz-R-Us) and squawks at customers

-protective of the DDL and are prone to tongue thievery on occasion

Oth #422-00 

Department of Higher Powers

Moth+Owl=Oth

Lives in the green house

Tries its best to take care of the DHP

Really likes moths

            Sometimes sends some to look after DHP members

Also really likes Moo (moon) water

It is unknown, to me, who first discovered Oth, but the drawing of Oth was done by Enoki

(RN: All though I have never seen Oth, I do wish too! Perhaps I could ask Selena about it… we’re on speaking terms now… I think.)

Here’s two safe cryptids that I documented after posting the original bunch.

The Memory Flowers #232-01 I actually learned about in class! Mikey doesn't really like them though, neither does Selena. Weird.

Also Robyn texted me a few days after I documented The Spider Person #552-00 and the Dream Speak is just “They’re really nice” and “Their name is Jamie!” So now we have a name to the face I guess

The Spider Person #552-00

-4 arms, 4 legs, and 8 eyes

-Giant webs that are shaped very much like hammocks (RN: possibly the origin of #331-01 the Top Hammock?? Need to do more research)

-Found in Averno’s Forest

-Its claimed that the DUE students chug Red Bull with the arachnid, hasn't been proven

-First Documented by Robyn

Memory Flowers #232-01

-Small dark flowers that reside in the forest

-Discovered by students

-flower itself is poisonous, but the pollen has the ability that allows the person who consumes it to view what happened where they were standing

-DHP medical and witchcraft students collaborated to find a way to pick a more specific memory

-Frequently used by DCM and DLH students for projects, but also used to get gossip

(RN: I do use these a lot, both for projects and gossip, although sometimes when I use them I see a girl in a flowing gown, and she's crying. I don't know who she is, but I hope she's alright.)

The Piano Being #331-02

Multiple “versions” some have eyes glowing in the darkness and long spindly fingers reaching out, others seem to have tentacle like things.

Sometimes there's just Leg

Goatfrog, “Clyde” #812-01

-Rainbow frog with goat horns

-Fast and jumps around 1 ft

-really likes strawberries and is friendly but can be extremely protective (and also lazy at times)

-Has 2 names

1. Is given to you (ex. Clyde) 

2. Yours to give (ex. Bastard)

-Like the shadow mothers, goatfrogs target kids that need help, but unlike the Mothers, they don't take them to the forest they just keep them company

First Documentation by Lu, about a Goatfrog who kept her company when she was a kid

(RN: I've seen these little friends hopping around, some stop by when I'm having a bad day. Overall extremely good boys, 10/10)

The Messenger #642-01

-Named by the DUE students after they tamed them to carry letters

-Steel blue spikes on back with a fluffy underbelly, webbed feet, red eyes, and venomous fangs

-Kinda looks like a demonic hedgehog 

-Often spotted swimming in the lake or running in the tunnels

I'm actually craving some of Citrons tea right now. It might chase the cold away.

Citron #632-01 (part 1)

-Resides in the Department of Creation and Destruction. Possibly used to be a student, but a ritual gone wrong by ether the DUE or DCD (RN: or both? Could this have sparked the dislike between the two department?)

-out of the corner of your eye you can see him following students to classes or walking down the corridors

-can be found in the explosions in the night, the dreamspeak tags that appear on the walls in the morning, the paper bags containing lunch given to a lucky student, the greenhouse plants that are always taken care of, the animals walking around the barn without anyone knowing how they got in 

-Make sure to set free any bugs you find or the next cup of tea you drink might curse you, even if you drink something else, bad luck will follow you until he is no longer angry 

-Makes the tea in the Tea Hut (in the back of the greenhouse 

-ring the bell and write on one of the papers what you need (ex. Courage, warmth, to forget, to remember) Just place a payment on top of the paper (ex. A precious stone, few small bones, something you made yourself, beautiful rock, pretty leaf, treasure you found) You'll know your order has been accepted when its gone, just wait for your tea to show up on the small wooden counter.

Citron #632-01 (part 2)

-Don't try to look behind the curtain, everyone knows it's rude and you don't want to end up with bad tea. But if you pay attention, you can see a small green hand with painted nails serving your drink

-You can get coffee or another drink, but it's more expensive. Will also deliver tea if your sick and unable to leave your bed, just ring a bell 3 times and leave something on your bedside.

-Likes it if you talk in dreamspeak to him. Just likes to talk with people in general. (how does he see you sign in dreamspeak?)

-He uses he/him pronouns, but sometimes goes by they/them, and his voice is neither low nor high pitch, you really won't remember what his voice sounded like. Perhaps it's for the best.

-You can find food or strange pastries on the counter at 6am, 12am or 4pm. Its free but be sure to leave some for others

-No one really knows what he looks like, only that he has lots of hair

-If you lost something, there's a good change he found it

-Leaves little dreamspeak notes in the paper bags

-Probably occupies the fourth bed in the barn, the one that is occupied yet no one is ever seen in

-Loves shiny things, treasure hunts, cheese, Lava brownie, lemon cheesecake, and the colors yellow, green

-Only appears to DCD and DUE students

(RN: Citron is very sweet, and his tea is exactly what I need. I do want to know more about the history of this failed ritual and its lasting effects. There must be something more there.)

This one is...weird.

the information was given to me by Rune but I cant help but feel like there's more secrets hidden here.

Maybe gossip girl or mystery girl knows who the priestess is, she did message them a few times.

The Priestess #631-00 (part 1)

-mysterious figure that has been seen around the school

-earliest record was a small town in oklahoma

- small, 5’3 or 5’4, female and wears a dark cloak and boots

-most seen in the DUE tunnels, DCM cabin and the Holy House of God Cathedral.

-at least 14 students have seen, what appears to be, the priestess in their dreams. She says that their finger bones will soon be hers (RN: ew?) and that she hopes the students soul find peace at the (??) eternal flame

-her voice was said to have a sad tone to it and the students disappeared 3 days later 

-The cloaked figure sits at students bedsides when they have fallen ill, speaking in an unknown language. But she disappears when someone trys to look at her

- Rumored to live in an old chappal, at the edge of A New Schools Grounds. The chapel has only been seen by a few students, but many have felt it. It always sounds like  faint flute music and choir-like singing in an unknown language, drawing those close to it. Students have found bones (some finger bones) in the grass.

-Some students who have gotten a message from The Priestess are still with us, missing fingers aside, but there's no real proof as they cannot recall the dream

(RN: These are all the basic facts from the note I was given, labeled File 715984300. The rest of the note is...unsettling and I figured it would be better...apart.)

The Priestess #631-00 (part 2)

Researchers note:

-The writer wrote “the priestess calls” for Three. Whole. Pages.

-The writer begs whoever find the file to continue the research but...I don't know if I can. What if I'm taken like they were?

-And what is a hunter???

I don't know what to do.

I was given this information soon after I was taken in the tunnels, by Cocoa and someone who calls themself Rune, who I think I will need to do some looking into

The file, #715984300 was found in the school gardens and either came from the DCM or DUE. Lucky for me, i'm now in both, i'll ask around and see if the filing system matches anything they have.

Or should I? The last (known) person who looked into this had a very...unfortunate fate. I don't want that happening to me. 

What have I gotten myself into.
