Figuring out the Necklace Tate/Josie
Josie sat on her bed, legs dangling off the sides, blue eyes focused on the scenery outside her bedroom. There had to be a way to fix this fucking spell. Had to be. Tate and her had spent almost every night after school up until late hours of the night, trying to figure out a way to touch each other without her passing out in the floor. As the night progressed, they found that they could touch their palms together longer if they both breathed through it and fought it for longer periods of time. But it was as if they started over each day. Almost hopeless.
She heard the floor creak in her room and she looked over to where she saw him. The familiar chill ran down the back of her neck before she saw him, signaling he had made himself known. She was learning the signs that he was near, signs that he was invisible, visible. The creaking floor made her turn her head toward him, pulling her lip ring into her mouth and feeling the soft painful pull before she addressed him. It was comforting. "You come for our daily fucking failure lesson?" She tried to keep the irritation out of her voice, but she knew it came through. It hurt her to sound so cold, but she was frustrated to no end.
