"So, you are the owner of this farm." Jamie had seen this persons farm every so often, when she visited Candace with deliveries. "And I'm using the term loosely."
She stared at the purple-haired stranger before her, a laugh threatening to come out. Where had they come from?
“Yup!” Angela beamed as she gestured towards her pride and joy like a newly entitled parent. “Isn’t she a beaut! I mean, a little more work here and there and she’ll be up in no time, don’t you think?”
Not that she cared. The girl knew this farm would be the best because that’s what she was working toward. And when she put her mind towards something she always got what she wanted.
Her eyes wandered back to the stranger in the poncho. Obviously, they must have known a thing or two about farming or else they wouldn’t have pointed anything out.
“What about you? Do you have land or are you more of a delivery person? I don’t think we’ve met before. I’m Angela.” she punctuated the greeting by gesturing her hand out for formal shake.
