The speedster looked over at him with a welcoming grin. The Flash taking a lunch break was a familiar sight in Central these days and she was becoming used to being approached by people from all walks of life; many just thanking ‘him’ for the heroics, others to ask advice, or just whatever topic came up.
“Good news, I hope,” she replied, patting the low wall she sat on in invitation for him to sit.
It was a few days until Kurt and Flash were able to meet up again. He looked over to her smiling brightly, “Hey!” He ran up to her. “I hafe nevs!” He grinned ear to ear his tail swishing around.

Rachel frowned at Kurt as she grabbed some candy corn out of the bowl. "Kurt I'm not sure how this is possible but you look...green." She looked him over. "You okay?"

This wasn’t the first time ‘he’ has found people lurking around on the rooftops. And the Flash was getting used to the weirdness of Central City in the aftermath of the particle accelerator explosion.
This guy however...
...okay to be totally honest, the Flash wanted to pet the guy’s blue fur, see if it was real. And as soft as it looked.
But that would probably be really rude.
Instead the speedster cocked ‘his’ head at the newcomer to the city as they stared at each other, while asking in a distorted, modulated voice. “Affected by the particle accelerator explosion, mutant, alien, or other?”

A shaky sigh escaped the teen’s throat as he moved to pick his books off the floor after they’d been knocked from his hands. Again. As he moved forward, he found himself bumping into another student in the busy hallway. A flinch before he managed to murmur, “I’m sorry.”
