For those who don't know this is the second book in the Scarab Beetle Series; companion to The Ghost Bird Series and part of the The Academy world. A world I have boasted about many times. However this book erks me. Mainly because I am not a huge fan of Blake or the amount of mistrust Kayli has for the boys and I did find the story line a little confusing. That is not to say I didn't like this book or that it turned me away from the rest of the books I just can't love this specific one.
