I envy you. Tumblr still hasn’t figured me out and keeps recommending blogs that I don’t care about - and I don’t follow nearly enough people. Uuggggghghhhh. I need science and halloween blogs to follow!

I made a halloween sideblog the other day if you wanna check it out. Some other halloween-ish blogs (though not necessarily exclusively halloween) are thespookshaveamidnightjamboree, gothiccharmschool, plumppumkin, boogedyboogedyboo, and I just now started following spookwithabrew as well.

A couple sciencey blogs (though again, not exclusively) are stuckinabucket (which is one of my fav blogs in the known universe), and scienceshenanigans.

If none of those strike your fancy, check out the tags for halloween or science stuff. That's how I've found most of the blogs I like. ^_^

Fun fact! I have 19 piercings - 11 on my ears, 5 on my face, and 3 elsewhere, as well as 15 tattoos - most of which are geeky as hell and one of them covers a decent portion of my head.

11. Talk about the best dream you’ve ever had: This one kind of stumped me because OH WOW DO I DREAM A LOT. I used to have really amazing horror dreams, but I think my fav is actually a… series of dreams? In which I find myself deeply in love with a dude that my brain has invented. He always looks different and I only ever remember random details like freckles on shoulders, but I always wake up feeling immensely reassured.

36. Talk about your guilty pleasures: IT’S A TRAP. Um. Really, I’ve been way less prone to guilty pleasures as I’ve gotten older because I’m learning not to be embarrassed by what I enjoy. One thing I generally don’t tell people about is my interest in Lovecraftian erotica, but that’s as much because I don’t want people to get the wrong idea about me and sex as anything else. I find literary sexytimes way more interesting than the real thing.

38. Talk about songs that remind you of certain people: OH MAN THIS PART COULD GET REALLY LONG. Let’s see if I can pick and choose. Temple of Love by Sisters of Mercy reminds me of my best dude friend because any time the song comes on at the club he starts saying “love love love love”. Anything off of Korn’s first album reminds me of my best friend from high school because we used to scream the lyrics and terrify random passersby. Another Planet by Alien Sex Fiend reminds me of my bestie Jerry because we used to put it on when we got drunk so that we could sing along really badly. If you haven’t heard it, I recommend you check it out to understand the hilarity. Forgotten Tears by Hocico reminds me of this mortician I dated for all of two weeks because it’s the song I was dancing to when I realized he was trying to control my behavior and that I needed to beat a hasty retreat. Divine Moments of Truth by Shpongle reminds me of my ex-boyfriend Todd because he showed me the flash video for it for the first time while we were on drugs and it sorta kinda turned my entire world upside down. Can’t Sleep by Above & Beyond reminds me of Nicci because we were spooning after a night of rolling when it came on and we sang it together and our friend Lauryn came into the room and “aww”ed over us without realizing we were still awake. Blue Lights by Fictional reminds me of the dude I was in love with when I was 19 for a slew of reasons, most of which make me sad. SONGS REMIND ME OF PEOPLE. My memory is not very good, but it’s much better when it’s tied to one of my senses.

Fun fact: I have a series of freckles on the upper part of my left arm that is a nearly perfect replica of the big dipper constellation. I'm going to get a tattoo that highlights this when I get back to the states.

That is awesome! I love tattoos that have meaning and context. I heartily approve and hope you submit pictures to me when you get it done.

Fun Fact About Me: When I was growing up, I wasn’t allowed to have game console games but my grandfather gave me his old Commadore 64 computer with a boatload of games and that’s what I grew up on. I also hung out at a friend’s house so I could play the SNES. The first console I owned was the PS2 when I was 19 years old.
