general opinions: Logan is one of those characters that is so hideously exposed that every flaw in their writing is shoved into your face to a disgusting degree. Kinda like Batman in that respect - they need to be consumed in moderation, and alongside their supporting cast, in order to really shine. But turning every X-Men movie into the Wolverine show, and chalking up sometimes six or seven appearances in a myriad of comics every week? I just get bored. Try and name the last piece of X-Men media that didn't feature Logan on the roster, or at least featured him. I guarantee you you'll have to really think about it.

general opinions: Logan's suffered a lot over the years. What I mean by that is, at times Marvel has tried to adapt to various media interpretations of him in ways it doesn't fit and he comes across being completely out of character. Logan when written right (aka Astonishing X-Men for example) is great; He's snarky, sassy and not the center of attention but when he is on panel, his moments are great. When you have someone like Bendis or Aaron writing Logan you get Logan, the guy who has killed more people than he has fingers and toes start lecturing others about being a murderer. Or in my opinion, when someone like Brian Singer gets a hold of Logan it's also catastrophic because he sacrifices the whole team/storylines for in favor of Logan. When written right like XTAS or Astonishing, it's really really easy to see why people like Logan so much.

general opinions: I really like Logan when not everything revolves around him like Astonishing X-Men had one of the best written Wolverine's I think because he was sassy, funny, gruff, fatherly but he wasn't the main focus of every page which made the moments he really was on page stand out that much more.
