Ezra had tried. He had really tried. For months, since he’d been moved into the flat. But this was ridiculous. It was midnight and he had to study for his courses, and he had to get some sleep. The young man dropped his highlighter and got up from the floor by the coffee table, grabbing his keys on the way out of his flat.
He hated sharing a wall with this neighbor, always music or the telly at ridiculous hours and it was hard to focus. Ezra knocked at the door, then pounded after a moment of waiting. “Look, it’s midnight. I’ve got class and work and I’ve got to study!”
