Continuing my trip down memory lane...this was a GREAT evening back in May 2012: @officialarlenroth playing @theiridium in #NewYorkCity This was my first introduction to #ArlenRoth (oh sure I had heard him play in the movie “Crossroads” like everyone else, but didn’t know it was him at the time!). My cousin was a big fan and had been looking forward to the show for weeks. We were lucky to get tickets because we had arrived in NYC that day and went straight to #TheIridium box office as soon as it opened. Apparently the internet didn’t exist in 2012 and we couldn’t get tickets before we left #Toronto for some reason! Before the end of the first song I was a fan. Arlen’s playing is so different from anything I had heard before. After this show I went out and bought his DVD “Arlen Roth’s Masters of the Telecaster” and sat down to learn it. I couldn’t.
