One World Trade Center (a.k.a. Freedom Tower) is seen in the background rising above the New York City skyline.

Also known as the "New World Trade Center," it is the tallest building in the United States.

To date, it's the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, and it is the seventh-tallest building in the world.
