*Soft gasp* Talifrieeeeennddddddd you’re so great tho. I have no idea what I could possibly have taught you (it’s usually the other way around, no?), but ilu and you’re great and, most importantly....
I would share my provoleta with you.

Obi-wan's left hand + Obi-wan's right hand.
my tru otp...
I'm gonna keep doing this until you grudgingly admit I finally asked a good question. OK, uh... ME2 Garrus or ME3 Garrus?
-snorts-
ME3 Garrus, definitely.
ME2 Garrus is... lost. He has lost his way, he has lost his best friend, he has quit his job and lost his faith in... everything. Most things. Shepard’s gone, and without Shepard, Garrus is left without a purpose. He’s tired of C-Sec (and has lost his faith in them, given how they complicate things and how they kept him from chasing down leads on his most important case back in ME1), he tried joining Spectre training and was disappointed in the fact that they, too, had all of this red tape to go through (honestly, Shepard makes it look easy. But then again, Shepard’s a bit of a ticking bomb the Council’s waiting to explode, when it comes to her induction as a Spectre). He found his place in Omega, finally, and then he lost that, too. Mass Effect 2 Garrus is... adrift. And reckless. He’s a man who has reached the end of the line and has nothing left to care about. His mother is sick, he truly believes he’s a disappointment to his father, his sister is mad at him (with good reason), and he’s thrown himself at danger to the point that he’s almost died multiple times. ME2 Garrus is not okay.
Until Shepard makes a return.
ME3 Garrus, on the other hand, is a man who has finally found a balance between the very different people he used to be (C-Sec officer abiding by the law in ME1 to rogue vigilante who gives no fucks about laws in ME2). ME3 Garrus has finally found his place in the Galaxy, finally found something to do where he feels valued and respected. People listen to him, people take his orders without questioning him. And he has found the perfect balance between following the rules and bending/breaking them at the right time, when it’s necessary. ME3 Garrus is in a much better place than ME2 Garrus could ever be, even as the Galaxy blows up all around them. He has finally found his place, and in finding his place, he has found himself. He knows what he’s doing, he’s no longer angry and adrift, but he also isn’t back to being the naive C-Sec officer who thought laws and rules were made to be followed. ME3 Garrus recognizes when he should obey rules, and when he should break them for the greater good. He’s become an important man, in a position of power, respected and obeyed and in a place where he can actually do some good. Make a difference. Be better and make others around him better. And do what needs to be done.
thekarmagem replied to your post:Choose between Isabela and Fenris.
I HONESTLY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE HARDER BECAUSE I ASSUMED YOU DISLIKED THEM BOTH. OK wait I have another one.
I don’t! I actually like Fenris. I just tend to be awful about him because... well, I’m biased. And when I talk about Fenris, it’s usually in connection to Marissa. And Marissa does not have very fond memories of Fenris. He wronged her, and she cannot forgive him for what he did to her in the end.
All right here's another one. Garrus or Zevran?
REALLY TALIFRIEND. REALLY.
I’m Garrus Vakarian. Codename: Archangel. All-around turian bad boy and dispenser of justice in an unjust galaxy. And you are?
Commander Shepard, Alliance Navy.
Talifriend, we met through MERP. This is not a question you ask the ultimate Garrus Roleplayer. REALLY. Nobody will ever be better than Garrus. NOBODY. God, I miss the turian. I should go back to playing Mass Effect soon. Yes. I also miss Luna. And I miss them together. Yes.
OK this one will be hard because I know for a fact you dislike them both. Isabela or Merrill. Count beans and tell me which one you hate less.
Merrill. I don’t like Merrill because she’s naive, and a fool, and won’t listen, but... she still sticks around. She still wants to help. She and Marissa may not see eye to eye on things, and Marissa may have done her utmost to keep her from fixing that eluvian, which gained her Merrill’s resentment, but... at the end of the day, she still cares for Merrill. She still considers her a friend.
She can’t say the same about Isabela.
