At The Light Festival you experience a couple things first a foremost, you get to reflect on your year thus far in a way that closely compares to New Years, and having that fresh start. . Secondly, you get to let all the kept up feelings and emotions you have held onto, just float away. . Third, is the feeling of everyone doing it together, talking about those experiences and knowing that some people have gone through the same thing you have. . . Their mission at “The Lights Fest is to create a transformative experience for families and friends, enabling them to share their light with others.” To truly get that feeling, the feeling of everyone's light and everyones misgivings just floating away, is nothing short of amazing. No matter where you come from or what your past was there was no judgement in writing it down on your lanturn and sending it soar into the sky. We felt it ourselves, as we had been going through some tough times but we were given that opportunity to just let it go. (oh sorry wrong disney movie) . . Would you burn things to let them go? (mainly lanterns but I know there are some people that burn ex’s stuff too sooooo…..) . . #htx #thelightfestival #lanternfestival #thelightfest #houston_insta #houstonlife #houstonblogger #houstonphotography #houstonphotographers #goarmy #blackandwhite #events #livemusic #familyevent #texas #houstontexas #htown #htownnightlife #listenlive #blogger #tobeextraordinaryistobeincomparable #famofbandb #tangled . . @houston @houston_insta @365_houston @houstoncity @houstonchron @voyagehouston https://www.instagram.com/p/B3IAmZdgnZq/?igshid=u5kxqhlzw3qx
