mori still has a necklace her mother made of connemara marble. the stone is similar to this one here, natural and rugged. however, the actual necklace is a small strip of leather. since it's the last thing she has, it is a great treasure to her. if she lost it, she might actually get thrown into the void. she'd lose a will to live. this might also be her shift into the modern world.
