Jack and I worked late into the dark last night, talking about pruning strategies and growth habits, laboratory equipment and the vagaries of watchmakers. But it's Friday morning, and that means it's time to go back to beautiful Orlando Florida. Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, you have been good to me, I've made new friends, worked on amazing trees, eaten exotic and new foods, and consumed way too many beers. Steered through production under Phil Spector's watchful eye the album was released on the 8th of May 1970, nearly a month after the group's separation, ▪︎ My favourite song on here has to McCartney's 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘥. Written in Scotland in 1968 it sums up The Beatles final months. The title was conjured up at the sight of a road rising up into the hills near his property: High Park Farm, near Campbeltown in the Scottish Highlands. ▪︎ It's just a beautiful song that for me really encapsulates life, love and every human beings personal pursuit of happiness.
