"Okay?!" She exclaimed. "We’ve been looking for you for days! You almost died! And the baby—" she took a deep breath. "You don’t have to be strong for me you know."

"I…" Snow let out a sigh before she turned up her smile for Emma. "I'm alright now."

The mention of the baby made her smile tremble as her hand went instinctively over her swollen belly. "The baby... is fine." Her smile was a little tighter but she didn't want to worry Emma now... but the lie felt horrible on her tongue so instead she blew out a sigh. "The Witch wants the baby."

Emma didn't waste a moment. She wasn't going to sit there open mouthed while her own mother was laying in a hospital bed, nearly having died. She made her way to the hospital and rushed into the room. "Mary Margaret-- are you okay?" - thelostsavior

Snow smiled as she reached out her hand to her daughter. “I’m okay Emma. Really.” There was no way she was going to tell her how the Wicked Witch has tortured her, or the flying monkeys. No need to worry her.
