✨ = How important is family to your muse?

Family is everything to Marina. More than loyalty to the Crown and all that her ancestors have built, she is fiercely protective of her mother and father. She will place the needs and well-being of her family above all else, especially herself and her own needs, and quite possibly even over the country itself. It’s highly unlikely they would ever ask her to do such a thing, but if they did, she’d be hard pressed to side with anyone else…

🍎  :    how stable is my muse’s mental health?  have they been diagnosed with any mental illnesses and  /  or conditions?  do they have any undiagnosed mental illnesses and  /  or conditions?  do they or should they attend therapy?   

For someone under as much pressure and scrutiny as the princess is, Marina has fairly good mental health. She does suffer from anxiety and occasional low self esteem, and would benefit from a therapist or even a very close friend and confidante. Unfortunately, Marina has picked up from her mother the idea that a Queen must be self sufficient and whatever emotions she might be wrestling with should be dealt with silently and behind closed doors… or not at all.

👨 = What’s your muse’s relationship with their father, what made it that way?

Marina’s relationship with the King is… complicated. She adores him as much as she is terrified of him, and with his growing illness, she finds herself forced to walk on eggshells around him more and more because it is impossible to know what sort of a mood he’s going to be in at any given moment.

Growing up, Marina was painfully aware of how badly George wanted a son, and so she spent a great deal of time trying to keep up with her male cousins, doing and learning all sorts of things boys do (hunting, hawking, playing cards, swearing) in an attempt to win her father’s favor. And while George did dote on his daughter, his attention was always so easily turned to other things that it left Marina with the sense she would never be more than a passing amusement to her father. Knowing that she’ll never really be able to make him happy the way a son would, Marina strives to at least be the kind of ruler he would be able to be proud of and respect.

🥝  :    does my muse have any  ‘  unusual  ’  habits, interests,  and  /  or talents?  do they hide it,  or are they proud of it?   

Marina is actually an excellent hunter and hawker. She learned both when she was quite young, partially to impress her father, partially because one of her male cousins was learning and the two were constantly in competition with one another. She’s incredibly proud of both talents, but she knows neither are exactly “ladylike” talents, and so she doesn’t speak about them unless prompted.

🥭 : how important to my muse is their hometown, or where they’re from? are they proud of it, or considered a hometown hero? did they move away, or do they wish to?

Peter enjoyed being raised in Birmingham. However when he began attending the season, he came to realize just how different London was. While he is always going to be grateful for his time in Birmingham, Peter is not attached to it. Since his father's death, the town and his home there holds the dark memories of mourning Alfred.

⚰️ = How would the loss of a family member affect them? Does it vary based on type of family member?

The toughest loss Lydia has experienced is definitely that of her late husband, Heathcliff. It was not his actual death that devastated her, but the aftermath of having to answer over and over why they never produced children.

The family member that Lydia would be crushed to lose would be her mother, whom she considers her best friend.

🍍 : how comfortable is my muse in their body? how do they feel about their height, weight, strength, and body type? how important is being attractive to them?

Lydia doesn’t have particularly strong feelings about her body. Though she would never show them off, she is proud of her impressive chest. Oddly enough, the only person who has seen her completely bare is her maid.
