Welcome to The Mayorca Files 2026, Mallorca Files fans! This a prompt-a-day event for May for The Mallorca Files, for all types of fanwork.
Participants can create for as many of the prompts as they wish — one is fine! Some alternative prompts are available and can be used as replacements or additions.
Entries can be any type of fanwork: fanfiction, fanart, video edit, picture edit, collage, gif, headcanon, meme…
The only thing definitely not allowed is the use of generative AI.
Please only post works on or after the day of the prompt, apart from alternative prompts, which can be used on any day. If you are late for a prompt, that’s fine — post when you can, even if it’s after May.
If you are posting your work on Archive of Our Own (mostly fanfic, but can be art or edits too), add it to the Mayorca Files 2026 collection (“TheMayorcaFiles2026”). If you are posting your work on Tumblr or Instagram, tag it with “#MayorcaFiles2026”. Make it clear somewhere on your work which prompt it is for.
