Niamh had decided that since Hazarmaveth had been so kind and welcoming to her when they had met, she wanted to take him something to repay him for his kindness. She baked up a fresh loaf of milk and honey bread, gathered up some fresh vegetables from the garden, and picked out two jars of jam she had made. She tucked everything into a basket safe and sound.
The walk took most of the morning, but it was much easier to find her way through the woods in the daylight. Leaves and twigs crunched underneath her boots. Eventually, she came upon Hazarmaveth's home. She was honestly surprised she'd remembered the way.
"Hazarmaveth?" She didn't want to startle him. He probably didn't get a lot of random visitors.
