How would you describe the look of the day and does it relate to how you dress?

"I would say that nowadays it’s kind of about having your own style and picking what you like. It's not so much about fitting in to a certain aesthetic or style, its more about having your own individuality. I would say that I kind of threw on what I picked up this morning but I don’t know, probably the spirit of our times does affect the way I dress.

Featuring a preview of pieces from SS '12 and Resort as well as exclusive one-offs, the shop at the-miumiu-london has been bustling.  SS' 12 explored the interplay of casual execution with refined materials (and vice versa), with its tie-dyed mink throws and duchesse satin-lined denim coats. We got a report from the floor herein of the most sought after items:

-Duchesse satin-lined denim coats with hand distressed detailing

-Skirts from the Miu Miu archive made in Swiss lace with contrasting satin underlayer

-Bow hair bands
