Well since I’m still deciding rather or not to release the unfinished comic or delete it I can just do this. Also I’m sorta having a mini depression grudge against https://www.tumblr.com/shaymin-99/ but I get why she doesn’t want me to use her characters and I think she also blocked me and that makes me even more sad. Also I have no grudge against @thenomadclan or @queenlybeastly . I just wish my characters can be apart of the Nomad Clan. Also I’m not saying to send hate to them because that would only make it worse, I love there work but I feel like I just don’t believe I’m good enough to make a comic or do any art in that matter. I just feel like I don’t fit into this community maybe that’s a good thing.

THE NOMAD CLAN: WAR GROUNDS
Page 1
Panel 1:
A military transport chopper cuts through a storm-gray sky. Rain needles the windows.
• SFX: WHUP-WHUP-WHUP
Caption (Elias):
Day 12. No sleep. Too much caffeine. Still don’t regret becoming a medic.
Panel 2:
Inside the chopper. Elias Brown (late 20s, curly hair, bright eyes) is tightening a strap on his vest. He has that goofy medic grin even in turbulence.
• Elias (to Becky):
“You know, Becky, I think this rain is a sign.”
• Becky:
deadpan “Yeah? Of what? That you forgot your rain gear again?”
Panel 3:
Rebecca “Becky Wild” Sandoval sits across from him. Latina, stone-cold stare, sniper rifle hugged close like a religion.
• Becky:
“It’s a sign you’re gonna shut up so I can focus.”
Panel 4:
Wendell Johnson, comms officer, adjusts his headset, nervous as usual.
• Wendell:
“Command says interference’s getting heavier the closer we get. If something pops out of the trees I—I swear I’m jumping out.”
• Elias:
“Buddy, you get scared when Becky sneezes.”
• Becky:
“…And?”
Panel 5:
Three other soldiers sit silently nearby—faces shadowed, the classic “extra soldiers who probably won’t survive long.” Tension builds.
• SFX: THOOM (distant, not thunder)
• Wendell:
“…Uh. Guys? That wasn’t weather.”
Page 2 — Enter the Major
Panel 1:
Boots step into frame—polished, heavy, loaded with authority.
Panel 2:
Pull back to reveal Major Anjelika Hastings standing near the cockpit door. 32. Tall. Muscular. Eyes sharp—haunted, but controlled. Her dog tags swing slightly with the vibrations.
She has Alyx’s photo inside her locket, though no one sees it yet.
Elias straightens like a kid caught messing around.
• Elias:
“Morning, Major.”
• Becky (quietly to Elias):
“It’s 1800 hours.”
• Elias:
“…Evening, Major?”
Panel 3:
Anjelika doesn’t smile, but she’s not cold—just focused.
• Anjelika:
“Status report.”
• Wendell:
“Interference increasing. Something’s out there. Could be tech—could be weather—could be…”
he glances at Becky
• Becky:
“…Could be nothing. Stay sharp.”
Panel 4:
Close on Anjelika as she stares out the small window. Her reflection shows a flash of her younger self. Her mother’s locket glints.
Caption:
Ten years without Dad. Ten years without Tonya. Ten years raising Alyx alone.
And ten years chasing ghosts in the dark.
Caption (cont.):
Tonight feels the same.

Panel 5:
Something streaks past the chopper—fast.
• SFX: FWOOOSH
• Elias:
“…Please tell me that was a bird.”
• Becky:
“Big bird.”
Panel 6:
Anjelika steps forward, hand on the strap, eyes locked outside—ready, sensing something.
Anjelika:
“Everyone hold. We’re not alone.”
Also let me know if you want more, and picture what’s going on in the text.
