People saying Enchanté is bad bc everyone knows who Theo ends up with from the start are missing the point so bad it's funny.

This is not a choose your romance plot! The Le Petit Prince motif is important, it's not just a coincidence that the book shows up so much or that Theo is presented as "the prince" and Akk as "the fox." The point of the story is to understand that what makes love special isn't whether someone is uniquely attractive to you but the care and effort one puts into the relationship. It's all about cultivating a healthy relationship with someone you love and care for and treating that person right because they are important to you.

The point of Theo's journey searching for this elusive Enchanté is that it forces him to appreciate the special bond he has with Akk.
