After the arrests, Leland had kept to himself and the crew on his ship, knowing that if he saw any of those damn heroes he would be on the hunt for blood. Unfortunately, being captain meant he had to lead by example and he knew his crew was already frustrated with having been able to do nothing. Anger building, he slammed his fist down on the hardwood desk in his captain’s quarters. The wood creaked but thankfully stayed intact and the tiny amount of pain his action caused kept him grounded. At least until he heard someone knocking on his door. “I told everyone tae keep busy by doin’ sword practice!” He shouted out, rubbing his temples as he waited for them to either leave or enter.
