Opening night was a success. ~C-Mo!?
Have you ever done a review of the Owl Bar? Sorry for not doing my homework if you did. The staff can be a little on the snooty side, but I love the vibe from the old speakeasy. It's good shit, if you somehow managed to miss out on it until now. :) C-Mo
I don’t do restaurant reviews too often because, I’m a bit of a creature of habit, so I only post if it’s outside of my normal stomping grounds (and I’m not a huge fan of restaurant dates). I do have one coming up soon, though!
I only choose Owl Bar if you don’t like my date enough to get all close and cuddly in the Brewer’s basement. Brewer’s food is better, the crowd is better (though Owl Bar is a good fallback if it’s too busy), and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to find it if you’re meeting someone for a first date and they’ve never been to The Belvedere before…
Owl Bar’s not a bad spot for a date, especially in colder months, it just doesn’t do it for me. Now, if anyone would like to take me on a date to The 13th Floor, I’m down.
